SUVs

What’s Covered

  • Accidental external damages to the rented vehicle during the contract period.
  • Standard parts replacement & body repair resulting from a single incident.
  • Garage parking days related to an eligible accident claim.

Important: Customer pays nothing for eligible damages up to ₹50,000, except towing beyond 10 km.

Not Covered / Exclusions

  • Tyres, rims, glass, interiors, personal items unless damage is part of a major insured accident.
  • Mechanical/electrical failures without accidental cause, pre-existing damages, normal wear & tear.
  • Driving under influence, overspeeding, off-roading, racing, illegal acts, unauthorized driver/route/state entry.
  • Hit & run without proper police intimation or refusal to provide incident documentation.

Towing Policy

First 10 km towing is free per incident. Beyond this, a per-km charge applies.

Damage Limits & Settlement

For eligible accidental damages:

  • Up to ₹50,000: Customer pays ₹0 (towing extra beyond 10 km).
  • Above ₹50,000: Customer may settle the claim for a fixed ₹19,999.

Settlement is a one-time option per incident and must be chosen before repairs are authorized.

Driver Rules & Responsibility

  • The driver must hold a valid driving licence and follow all traffic rules.
  • If found guilty of rule violation (DUI, overspeeding, rash driving, illegal use, unauthorized driver, etc.), the full damages shall be payable by the renter/driver and no refund of the RIPP amount will be made.
  • Timely reporting: inform Onroadz Guwahati within 2 hours of any incident and obtain police intimation if required.

How to Report a Damage

  1. Ensure safety; move to a safe spot if possible.
  2. Call/WhatsApp: +91 97076 28882 and share location.
  3. Send photos/videos of the damage and incident spot.
  4. Provide police GD/Intimation if applicable.

Repair & Settlement Flow

  • Vehicle inspected at an authorized workshop.
  • Estimate prepared; we confirm eligibility under RIPP.
  • For estimates ≤ ₹50,000 → proceed with repair; customer pays towing beyond 10 km only.
  • For estimates > ₹50,000 → customer may opt to settle at ₹19,999 (one-time).

Terms & Legal

  • RIPP is a rental damage protection add-on offered by Onroadz Guwahati; it is not an insurance policy issued by an insurer.
  • Activation occurs when added to a confirmed booking and paid in full. It is non-cancellable and non-refundable post activation.
  • Only one claim/incident handled at a time; multiple incidents are treated separately.
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, or non-disclosure voids protection and invites recovery of full damages.
  • All disputes subject to jurisdiction of Guwahati courts.
